Getting files off the headset

Exports are in Download/HMScan, in a folder for each scan. Connect the headset with a data USB-C cable and choose Allow in the headset. On Windows it appears in File Explorer. On a Mac you need an Android file transfer app.

Using a model in Roblox Studio

Choose Roblox on the Export page, then import the GLB. Set Scale Unit to Meter. HMScan suits props and objects, not avatars or accessories.

AI Processing stopped when I took the headset off

The headset pauses apps while it is off. The job waits and carries on when you put it back on.

HMScan is for ages 13 and up

Scan safely: clear the floor first, because the boundary is hidden while you scan.
